Rock Garden is a separate part of Royal Botanical Gardens, not far from Hendrie Park with it's own parking space.
Opened to visitors in 1932, the historic Rock Garden is considered the birthplace of Royal Botanical Gardens, with significant rejuvenation in 2016. Smaller than Hendrie park, The 4 hectare garden has Year-Round Perennial Display and showcases over 100,000 individual plants of 1,600 types.
Garden is built on multiple levels, with a winding road surrounding a serene pond with water lilies.
